Summary of Key Cases

Since the Regulations on religion & belief were only introduced in December 2003, relatively few cases have been determined as binding case law. The majority of cases included in this section are decisions made by Employment Tribunals and caution should be exercised in interpreting their significance – at best they may give an indication of how similar complaints might be treated.
